Project Overview
Achievo is a task management application designed specifically for students to help them manage their tasks, organize assignments, and track deadlines. The goal of Achievo is to provide a user-friendly platform that addresses the unique needs of students, enabling them to stay organized and improve their academic performance.
Problem Statement
Students often struggle with managing their academic responsibilities, leading to missed deadlines, incomplete assignments, and increased stress levels. Traditional task management tools are not tailored to the specific needs of students, lacking features that cater to their academic schedules and requirements. This results in inefficient task management and poor time management skills, affecting their academic success and overall well-being.
Project Goals
The primary goal of Achievo is to enhance students' ability to organize and prioritize their academic tasks effectively. We aim to develop a user-friendly interface that integrates seamlessly with academic calendars, allowing students to track deadlines and receive timely reminders. Additionally, Achievo will offer customization options to cater to individual preferences and study habits, while also providing tools for progress monitoring and motivation through gamification elements. Collaboration features will be included to support group projects, and mobile accessibility will ensure students can manage their tasks on the go. Overall, Achievo is designed to improve time management and academic performance by addressing the specific needs of students.

I have conducted interview to discover user’s problems and needs so I can understand them better and offer a possible solution
From the survey I found that users are all about finding that sweet spot where they're not drowning in work, managing their time like a boss, teaming up with others smoothly, and making sure they hit deadlines without breaking a sweat. They want to balance their school stuff, hobbies, and life without losing their minds, work together with friends on projects hassle-free, and have tools that keep them on track and stress-free when it comes to getting things done on time.

Achievo’s dashboard offers a seamless all-in-one user experience, integrating essential features to enhance productivity and organization. The dashboard provides an intuitive overview, a dynamic calendar, real-time tracking of ongoing tasks, and a user-friendly to-do list. This cohesive interface ensures that all critical information is easily accessible, promoting efficient task management and streamlined workflows.
Simplifying Collaboration
Intuitive 'New Project' form that is easy to use and navigate. This form streamlines the process of creating tasks and includes options to add or invite new members, facilitating smoother collaboration. With its straightforward layout and user-friendly features, the 'New Project' form enhances teamwork and ensures that task management is both efficient and accessible.
Including a comprehensive notifications and activities section, making it easier for users to manage real-time activities on their projects. This feature ensures users stay up-to-date with the latest updates and developments through timely notifications.
Efficient Task Management: Kanban-Style Dashboard UI Design
This task management app features a Kanban-style interface that makes it easy for users to sort, manage, and track their tasks. The intuitive layout allows for easy categorization and prioritization, giving a clear view of project progress. With drag-and-drop functionality and customizable columns, users can adapt their workflow to fit their needs, boosting productivity and making task management more efficient.

Through this case study, I learned the importance of really understanding students' needs. I saw how tough it is for them to balance schoolwork, extracurriculars, and personal commitments, which showed me the need for a centralized task management system. I realized how helpful collaborative features and good time management tools can be. I also found that a simple, intuitive design and features that support well-being are crucial. Overall, this project highlighted the value of empathy, getting feedback, and continuously improving the designs to create solutions that truly help users.
